Titanium mesh for chlorate production is the core anode component in membrane-free electrolyzers. It catalyzes the oxidation of chloride ions to generate chlorate in sodium chlorate electrolyte solutions, with high chlorine evolution selectivity >95% and resistance to highly oxidative environments. This black-colored titanium mesh is a key material recycled by DONGSEHNG, with over 500 tons processed globally annually.
Its coating readily passivates when electrolyte oxygen content exceeds 5ppm.
Without reverse-current protection systems, coating peeling occurs due to electrical polarity reversal.
Material purity: TA1/TA2 or GR1/GR2 high-purity titanium, thickness 0.3–1.0mm
